Poker Chip Tricks
It doesn’t matter whether you are new to playing poker or whether you are a veteran of poker. One of the sure fire ways that you can impress people is if you can do poker chip tricks. That’s right, the ones where you play with your poker chips and make them do amazing things.
Being able to manipulate those poker chips is almost as great a feat as being able to read minds! Well, not quite, but you can be sure that it does impress people when you can effortlessly manipulate and do poker chip tricks.
It’s not that difficult to learn how to do any of the poker chip tricks either. All you need are a stack or two of poker chips, the desire to learn how to do them, and dexterous fingers. The latter of course, is not a necessity to begin with since you can always train your fingers to be dexterous.
After that you just need to sit down and learn how to manipulate the poker chips so that you can look amazingly cool while you are playing poker. One thing on that subject though while we are at it.
Although it is very nice to be able to wow your friends and family alike by performing poker chip tricks, if you are going to be doing it while you are in the middle of a game with people you don’t know, you might want to be careful what you do. For one thing, some people can’t stand what they perceive to be someone showing off, and for another thing, you can get so caught up in performing your poker chip tricks that you lose track of where you are in the game.
This is all and well good when you see actors in the movies performing their poker chip tricks, but if you do it while you are in the middle of game play and you forget that your turn is up, you can cause a lot of impatience amongst the other players.
If at all you are going to be doing these poker chip tricks, you will want to do with keeping your wits about you. Don’t make it so that people have to constantly remind you that it is your turn to play, the other players didn’t come to see you manipulating the chips in this way, so keep your head on straight.
Another thing that you will want to keep track of when you are doing these poker chip tricks is how much you give away of yourself when you are doing this. For many people, they will perceive this as a poker tell and they will study it and you carefully trying to see where your cracks are. So use your head, and impress only those people who are ready to be impressed, leave the others to play their game of poker in peace.
